Conference of government legal experts (CJE)
Since 1978, the conference of government legal experts (Conférence des juristes de l’État – CJE) has been bringing legal experts in the Québec public service together for training and professional development activities in a friendly context.
In 2019, the CEDAC joined with Université Laval’s Faculty of Law and the Barreau du Québec to organize the Conference.
Each year, the various CJE workshops deal with legal and social issues that interest government lawyers and notaries, judges, senior public officials and researchers.
2022 edition of the CJE
The CEDAC will be responsible for the last panel at the CJE, in tribute to Professor Patrice Garant, expert in administrative law at Université Laval’s Faculty of Law.
On the discussion panel, practitioners, university researchers and former colleagues and friends of Professor Garant will talk about his work’s contribution to and continuing relevance in Québec law.
Further details to come.
More information about previous editions of the CJE can be found on the Conférence des juristes de l’État website.
